Not everything has to be Holiday-related.

Back when Kelly Marie was doing the sneak peaks of the new sets from the last release, I got really excited. Want to know why? Well, I have to let you in on a secret. Promise you won't tell? Okay. I don't really like themed products. I don't like the idea of using a stamp set/ paper collection/ embellishment set for three weeks and moving on. Correction, I don't like the calendar telling me I have to move on when I'm not ready. So when I was looking at the previews for Bows and Holly, and Kelly Marie showed the present image and the bow images, I was SOLD. Of course, there are wonderful stamps in the set that are awesome for the next few months as the holiday season kicks into full gear, but this set is one that is truly versatile. To demonstrate, I present to you a birthday card using the Bows and Holly set:
Close-up of the stamps I used from the set. They're wonderful, and I will use them forever and ever (all year long).
Supplies: Cardstock- Papertrey Ink (Lemon Tart and Kraft), Ink- Tsukineko (Black Memento), Stamps- Lawn Fawn (Bows and Holly and Sophie's Sentiments), Ribbon- Papertrey Ink, Colored Pencils- Prismacolor, White Pen- Signo, Corner Rounder- WRMK, Thread- DMC.

Are you sold on the set? It's quickly becoming one of my favorites. Love it! See you again tomorrow for another Video Tutorial Monday. It's a good one, and my friend Latrice has something to do with it. :) Thanks for stopping by!

Love.
Brit

Cute card, Brit! Love the colors on the kraft! How's that paper going on the 3 scholarly authors? I wouldn't want to write that one either!
