Home again and a card. :)

Four things:

1. I made an esty shop. Check it out here....my username is waterfilterlove. :) I plan on selling cards, some artwork, and helping my mom sell some of her handmade purses. We'll see how that goes. :)

2. I made a card for Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge #52. Man, this was a stretch for me. Somehow, I pulled it off though. It definitely helped that I had this gorgeous card by mi kass (Donna) from the Hero Arts Flickr Pool.

The Inspiration:

My card:

Close-up:

Supplies:
Cardstock- Bazzill (saffron and "sand"), Archiver's (mustard), and The Paper Studio (white), Patterned Paper- Heidi Swapp for Advantus, Stamps- Hero Arts ("a happy hello") and Inkadinkado (Owl), Embossing Ink and Powder- Ranger, Corner Rounder- The Paper Studio, Scalloped Circle Punch- Marvy Uchida, Circle Cutter- Making Memories.

3. Packing up was crazy- it took us more than two hours just to pack up our SUV, not to mention the futon that got a ride with Greg and my minifridge that got a ride with my friend, Jeff. Here's a before and after picture:

4. Being home is glorious. This is what I get to see when I sit in my room. :) :

Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to leave a comment- I like those lots.

Love.

Brit
